Real Estate Social Media Advertising and the Fair Housing Act

When copywriting and scripting advertising for digital advertising on social media the words used must not violate the Federal Fair Housing Act.

Is that possible? Yes. If an inexperienced social media manager uses words that would discriminate the Real Estate agent could be in violation. When copywriting material for digital advertising on social media it is important to keep posts in compliance.

It is important to keep the copy straight forward and simple. It is important to use exactly what the agent has in the MLS or take short excerpts from that. It is not wise to vary from that verbiage and start writing descriptive sentences.
